Dimensions/Description for Radiola Loop Antenna?

I have nice-looking, functional Radiola 28. It's DC powered, and someday I'll pick up an RCA UZ-1325 horn or model 100 loudspeaker to pair with it--they're not too hard to find. Finding a loop antenna is more of a problem, so I'm intent on making a functional replica with the help of a good woodworker.

I've seen a few photos, but to make an authentic-looking antenna I need more details than the photos show. Specifically I need height and width dimensions and a photo or description of the plug end of the antenna (which is always hidden in photos).

Beyond that, it would be helpful to have a description of the fabric-covered loop wire (gauge, color?).

If anyone has time to spare and has access to a Radiola 28 loop antenna, please let me know.

Always Grateful.

Antenna Reproduction Complete

Finally finished the Radiola 28 antenna reproduction. It looks good--only an expert would know it's not original. I couldn't get the details I wanted from someone who had an original, so I worked from photos and a similar Radiola 25 antenna. The frame was made to my specs by a professional woodworker, and I did the finishing and wiring.

Here's a side-by-side comparison with a Radiola 25:

This is the coronation of the Radiola 28:

…and a link to the album with 22 photos showing some details of the fabrication (some of which I've already posted here):

Of course, now the radio doesn't work at all and I'm going to have to pull the chassis to see what's wrong.

Great work, a tour de force. Congratulations.

Nice job!

Don't it figure that just as soon as you get the antenna rebuilt the set decides to break.
