Sometimes the simplest things work the best!
G'day all, one thing that I learned this week in amongst lots of other things :D is that when it comes to Ham Radio antennas, the simple inverted V dipole is a fine antenna.
Although I love full wave loop antennas, they have the real disadvantage the they cannot match the 'effective height' advantage of a simple inverted V dipole. Less wire, but ultimately better performance. It is just 'one of those things'. Regards, Felix (vk4fuq) aka catman.
