What are these holes in Zenith Channel #s

The channel number inserts in my Avanti are either damaged, missing or numbers I don't like/use. I managed to find an unused sheet of them, but was wondering why the 2 - 13 inserts have a hole in them while all the other do not. The numbers in that range that are currently in my set also have a hole.

Anyone know the reason? Seems a bit odd to me.

Not familiar with the specifics of the set, but since 2-13 are VHF channels, and 14-83 are UHF, the hole may be used to switch between UHF and VHF tuning range.

I think that's it. I just looked and realized that there is no way to switch between VHF and UHF when setting up the channels, so the insert must do it for you.
