Swap: CTC11 Video i.f. into CTC10 chassis?
 

The video i.f. board in my CTC10 Wynnwood is in grungy condition, it's discolored, the i.f. coils are rotted away and there was a lot of white crud all over it. I seemed to be having video issues as well, low luminance etc.

I have two CTC11 chassis with nice boards and I would like to just swap the whole board but I need to know if there are any issues I should be aware of, like are the input and output frequencies the same?

The only difference I can see is one resistor on the 10 has been replaced with a peaking coil on the 11, otherwise all components seem to be the same.

I have new 12&3 video i.f. coils coming from Moyer so I can fix my old board if need be, or I could install them on the 11 board because the plastic on it's coils is less than great also.

I think that there aren't problems to swap the boards, only you'll have to make again the alignment. :)

I figured I'd have to tweak the alignment a little, especially if I replace the coils.

The plastic core is loose on the old board so the slugs were probably out of place anyhow. One of them fell out while I was cleaning it.:thumbsdn:
