Any difference between these RCA CRTs?
 

Two Sears sets I have with the same size CRT, a table model with a HA66ADT14X01 CRT and a console with a A66ADT14X01. Does the one missing character at the beginning of the latter's code make any difference at all? I have been keeping the table model around for parts only.

Electronics wise the same. The first letter is the use code
A= TV M= monitor. First # is screen size in cm. The rest is the
family & physical specs, things like neck size, bonded yoke,
mounting, etc.
The H is a mystery. May be just the type of screen glass or
some other minor difference. I used to have a sheet on the
scheme but its long gone. Maybe someone else has one.

Ah well, I guess no one else has any info. I got the important info anyway, so thanks.

HR=high-res, or smaller phosphor pixels. Not sure what "h" alone is.

Maybe the H is really an A that was misprinted?

i believe the first letter is the color of the grid.i left the business in the mid 80s but remember that the crts back then had a 1st letter coding as to the color of the grid.some were light and some were dark and almost black.dont quote me but i think this is it
