Poor horizontal stability

Meh, I'm not going to expect the most from this set, but my TG&Y black and white TV is loosing it's stability.

On patterns it looks fine.

However, feed it a video signal, and it looks terrible.

Hmmm. AGC set a tad too hot? Possibly a bad electrolytic (about 1uf) on the AGC line? Does it look OK with a real TV signal? It looks like you had a video game hooked up when you took the pictures. I remember sometimes TV's from the 70s and 80s would get a little fussy with games and VCRs, but looked just fine with a signal from the antenna or cable.
I'm just thinking out loud here.

At this current time I have no real video signal to give it, other than possibly a DTA for the antenna, when I get it from storage. Currently cable went all digital here.

Did you tried to sent it a video signal from a DVD player? Mine doesn't make that kind of pulling on any of my TV, including the 1971 Chromacolor.
