1972 Panasonic TR-542AC B&W TV (pics)
 

Picked up this set today.
It is a 1972 Panasonic TR-542AC B&W TV. This was the first TV made with touch sensing ON/OFF power swtich. very nice Space age red cabinet design.
Made in Japan.
Found it locally from the original owner. Also came with all manuals.

Hard to believe this was made at the same time as tube consoles... looks nice, how's the picture?

No idea. I havent turned it on yet ! LOL

I love how the high voltage contained inside is harmless to "qualified persons" if you take the label literally.

You really got a gem of a set there.

I always like the cartoonish drawing the manuals in the old days had !
