Not mine but i'd like to have a few. He had 2 or 3 predicta TV's that he told me he could not sell separately but did so anyway.

I see a Kiel cabinet for a AK model 53 sitting upside down on top of the shelf. Those aren't easy to find anymore. I've needed one for 3 years but it's too far away to do me any good.

I see a four-legged speaker table upside down on the top shelf, but not an AK Kiel table radio cabinet.

.

You're right. On second look I see that it's a speaker table.

And it was just 5 min. from my house.

I found the listing just last week. The gentleman was fixing up his late father's (a ham, of course) house for sale and had moved his entire life-long electronics collection to a single outbuilding. When I visited him yesterday all the prime items were gone, but he'd cut his original prices in half so I spent a couple of hours picking through the stuff.

This is what I came home with:

Some of the stuff is in good condition, some of it is hopeless, but the prices were very attractive. I asked if I could look through a box of tubes, and he gifted me the whole box.

I'm doing an inventory right now--there are 123 tubes, about half are NOS in boxes--just two ST's--a handful of subminiatures--and a most unusual-looking "Kellogg A-C Tube Type 401" still in the box. They come in so many different flavors that I can't figure out which ones to keep.

I keep meaning to go but is probably a waste of time now. I wanted the predicta's but are long gone

Nice finds.

Please don't throw out any tubes of types you don't want/use. They will surely be useful to someone else in the future if you pass them along.

Looks like the nicest thing is the horn speaker if the driver is still good.

I see a goldmine of test equipment! Not really a money goldmine, but a goldmine none the less.
