1963 RCA "The Abbeville" listed on craigslist
 

Hey guys,

Anyone spot this. it a 1963 RCA "The Abbeville" listed on Craigslist in Loveland Ohio.

Nice looking cabinet, stereo and R/C still there. It's missing the CTC12W

Reduced to $350.

Someone please save it! I own the same one since 1967

This WAS the best of the best that RCA had to offer in 1963.

I believe they all came with remote control. I know that my Aunts, and the one I have are equipped with remote.

i still dont understand that about people, destroy something then ask a rediculous price for it.

In all likelihood it WAS a remote set.

If they had left the tv in it...it likely WOULD fetch that money....but NOT NOW. It probably has the "good amp" in it too--with P-P 6BQ5 outs IF they didn't steal that too...

Here is a local ad for just the stereo components from an RCA combo. In the one picture, you can even see the bezel from the TV set, it appears. I sent a message; the seller no longer had the CRT or the TV chassis. Dumb, dumb, dumb!

It says model HF-861. That's the Danish modern "Stockholm" combo that Davewm has one of and I have a couple of myself. Its such a cool cabinet, its a shame that it was dismantled.
