Zenith Porthole
Thanks to a fellow VK member, I purchased this Zenith Porthole. It needs a full restoration.

I believe it to be a Stromberg Carlson TV-12. As well as an Airline portable. http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/...psatnha1y1.jpg http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/...psrf2lldbj.jpg http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/...pscpzyobhj.jpg http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/...psm5r3ceyh.jpg |
Looks like you got plenty of work ahead of ya-
Good thing winter is on it's way..... . |
That sure looks like a Dumont RA103 chassis, even down to the Inductuner, tuning eye and constant voltage transformer.
I'm thinking that Stromberg Carlson simply rebranded Dumont. |
The Stromberg-Carlson TV-12 is indeed another RA-103 chassis set, like the Crosley 9-407.
