Antique Bendix radio in an ad for watches in Playboy

On page 39 of the May 2016 issue. http://videokarma.org/attachment.php...1&d=1461621176

They show a Bendix bakelite radio. They may have picked a Bendix as Bendix is a big name in aviation, and they look to be wanting to associate their watches with old time airplanes around WW2. Though this radio is postwar.
