ballast replacement

Hi everybody, does anyone know of a suitable replacement tube I can use for a Emerson 367023 ballast tube? thanks

If you can't find an original (likely) there are ways of substituting for it (power resistors, capacitors, diodes ). If all it does is drop heater voltage you can make a capacitive dropper with the same AC resistance as the ballast.

thanks for the advice, I've got some emails out to tube suppliers. Even if I find a replacement I'll give making my own a shot. It's a good learning experience

The ballast tube used in that model is for the voltage doubler and the B+ voltage divider. It looks like, two 10 ohm and three 75 ohms. Possibly all 10 watt wire-wounds. :scratch2:

Yes, thanks, that's what I've found on the schematic 2 10's and 3 75's. I've got them on order
