Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help me find out the model number of this Sanyo tv. I'm pretty sure it's 25 inch. I used to own one just like it. I purchased it at Walmart somewhere around the years 2000-2002. I would like to purchase another one because I always loved that wide cabinet style. Please excuse the graffiti on the tv screen, this is the only picture i could find of it on the internet. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum. I searched google images for "Sanyo crt tv" and found one of this particular model for sale in western Ohio on Letgo. Not sure where you are located but if this one isn't close to you, perhaps you could message them and ask nicely for the model number. If you're interested in this style cabinet and not necessarily the exact model, you should be able to get one for free off your local craigslist. We had a JVC with the speakers on the side like that.

P.S. I think you accidentally had your bold font on. :)

Thank you SpaceAge! I will try to message the seller of that tv and find out the model number. I'm in North Carolina. I have a regular square cabinet crt tv but i really would love to have one like that Sanyo. Been looking on local craigslist and facebook ads. Thanks so much again!

Hi again SpaceAge and everyone. I sent several messages to the seller of the sanyo tv that SpacsAge found for me and I haven't received a reply. I still haven't found the model number of the tv. I have searched Google over and over again. Looked at all the manuals in PDF format and no luck. Wonder why it's so hard to find? This must be a rare tv that was made? Anyone that can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much in advance!

You are having trouble because Sanyo only had a few percent
market share. Also by then pass out line folders were all but gone.
One thing to try is finding the TV recycle place. Some of them
process hundreds of TV's a day. Ask to take a look & maybe
leave them a pix.
Good luck

Too bad you don't live around SE Wisconsin. I could give you five good working Sanyo sets of that era. Seemed to be a very popular set around here.

dieseljeep If you have one tv like the kind in the pictures and that model number I will buy it from you and arrange the shipping and everything. You wouldn't have to worry with it at all.

I finally found the Sanyo DS25590. It was 3 hours away in Charleston, SC but I went and got it. It's in pretty good condition for it's age and works great. I will take more pictures when I get it setup. Thanks everyone for all your help and encouragement!
