Clegg Zeus / Interceptor
 

My new 6 and 2 meter AM station. Restored by a good friend of mine.

The Clegg Zeus (center pic) and matching power supply / modulator (right) puts out 150 watts modulated by a pair of 811 tubes. The Interceptor (left) receiver is AM and SSB, and with 20 tubes (7 of which are nuvistors), it's a great performer. Now that 6 meters is starting to have some band openings, I'm really enjoying it. I worked a couple of stations from NY the other day, in addition to all the local guys.
