Do they have sets displaying a picture, as the ETF does?

Wonder if that Moses fella is a member here ? Would LOVE to thank him for saving as much of TV history as he has.. Y'know between him , the ETF, and a few other places, notably quite a number of US, there basically wouldn't BE much TV History-Equipment wise, anyhow... Always TICKLES moi no end when I get to show off a few of MY "Playpretties" to young people & neophytes.. The Zenith 10" "Porthole" is always a show-stopper, as is my Philco "Safari", & my 1.5" Panny CT-101....The Zenith is just so uncompromisingly ODD looking to young eyes, they "Get it" that its likely a TV, but TVs DON'T have round screens, they are flat or thin things, are black/dark grey plastic, hang on walls, and Jeez, Mister, this thing sure is WEIRD...When did you say it was made ?!?

I'd love to visit the Toronto museum someday. Moses Znaimer is a TV pioneer in Canada, and most of his collection in the museum came from his purchase of the extensive TV and ephemera collection of Arnold Chase that was sold 25+ years ago -- including the plexiglass TRK-12 that was in the 1939 New York World's Fair pavilion.

I have a VHS tape with Arnold Chase recorded from a Saturday morning show from about 1982. He displayed about 10 vintage TV's ranging from the Western Visionette up to the Philco Predicta. Arnold made it so interesting and the young host was amazed. He really stirred my interest in collecting these sets. Does anyone know why he sold off his amazing collection? I hope he's still around and doing well.

After watching the video, im not surprised Moses had trouble finding a "barber pole" Predicta way back then. Now, that most truly interesting sets are out in the open so to speak, most collections feature several Predicta models including this one.

The very same Philco was briefly on display at our State Museum, with 1954 (!) as the date on it. I have been trying to get that fixed, but finding the RIGHT person there is tricky.

My dim memory of the day says Arnold sold off his broadcasting properties in CT and many of the sets were stored in them. His dad who started the family business passed a few years ago so odds are that Arnold is still around. I found a 2016 NPR interview with him. Calling Arnold to join us to help with history.
