What model is it so i can get a sams ? I've included a pic , its a halolight , CRT is 21AVP4 , model starts with M and thats all that i can see , the label on the back is damaged and there are none in the set.
A guess would be its around 1956 / 1957 , has selenium rectifiers

Looks like a variation of this model:

I have a 526M from 1954. Same CRT. Same knobs.
Looks close to me.

Jon the one on radiomusuem has a different crt , different horz out and a couple other differences , the one i have has 6DQ6 horz out , 6AS5 for audio , no 6AQ5 etc .

Yes same tubes. My dad bought this set in 1954. He also bought the service manual.
The front of the manual says. Chassis 1-521-1, 2.
Models 510, 520, 521, 526, 573, 575, 576, 577 series.

Here is a bad pic of the insides and i made a mistake it does use 6CD6 for Horz Out

update i never did find the model number so tracking down the sams is not easy , really impossible , i ordered a sams set 285 folder 14 to see if maybe that it but it has not arrived and the seller claims he sent it and put a trace on it , for all i know it could be set 286- 11 or 234-14 or who knows what.

21AVP4/21AUP4 is in the set , not sure if that is a replacement or original crt because data sheets show that is a low voltage electrostatic focus yet i'm pretty sure there is a permanent magnet that adjusts for focus
6AS5 for vertical out put
