Looking for a couple of coils for a Pilot TV-37
 

I am in the process of restoring a Pilot tv-37 that I have scavenged for parts for other sets.
I need 2 coils:

video detector L17 part number 279-37.
audio detector L21 part number 279-39.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can't you simply make them? I generally do.

I probably could wind them (they are a single layer and not to many windings) and might have to but am trying the easy route first.

I have used RCA coils from sets of that vintage to fix the open audio ones. The frequencies and circuits are similar, although the audio is taken off much later. Also, if you have no video or washed out video, make sure the germanium diode detector is not the least bit leaky. Good luck and enjoy- I did one a few months ago and now have two of them to work on for the Vintage Radio and Communications Museum of CT. The horiz and vert circuits can be tricky and you will find MANY resistors that are way out of tolerance. Enjoy!

Yes , there are several ways to get this going but I though I would try the easy way first and it looks like it might work. Another member on here has a parts chassis that he is going to sell me. This is going to let me just swap the part and the set will still be 100% original. Thanks for all the suggestions it great to see there are still people around that know this old technology.
