Stewart Warner model 9113 1950
 

I have a Stewart Warner in my collection, a model 9113 from 1950. Haven't found another one on the internet, are these few built? and has now become rare? This TV was recently brought to the Netherlands. Now I want to restore this TV, picture tube measures well. I can't find a service manual that was made digitally, does anyone have it digitally?

There should be Beitman's TV Manuals in that link that you should be able to find your TV's service manual in.

Thank you, but no model 9113 in the 1950 list. In the 1951 list the 9120, but is different, but some parts are the same.

Already an image from this TV, replaced a number of capacitors. I hope someone has the service manual digitally, other than trying to buy in the USA.

Sam's photofacts are mostly under copyright and they even go after people who distribute the pre-1960-something ones that are out of copyright so digital distribution (besides paying for a download from Sam's technical publishing's website) is kinda like asking for ice in hell.

Now that you mention it the early television museum's website hasn't caved to Sam's threats and has kept their limited library available, but if they don't have it you still would have to find someone with the folder and a scanner.

Here in Europe less problems with copy rights. Everything from most European manufacturers can be found freely on the internet. The service manuals were also included with the purchase of a television.

I now use Beitman's service manual from 1951. Model 9120 is very similar. Now this TV works better and better after replacing the paper capacitors.

Another question about copyrights, are Youtube videos with music made in Europe also visible in the USA? here in Europe few problems with copyrights where music appears, but advertising is visible where the rights are paid for.

Question Marcel, are you running these USA-market sets on 50Hz power in NL? And if so are you feeding them with a 50Hz or 60Hz signal? I have a Predicta (and several other sets) that when I feed them a 60Hz NTSC signal the picture beats with the 50Hz power and is unwatchable. But if I feed a 50Hz signal the picture is stable but I'm not able to get correct geometry. All of your sets look good so I wonder how you're doing that.
