Need help with transistor orientation
 

Replacing a transistor in my 76 Trinitron and am confused with the orientation. Not sure how to post an image so I’ll describe it: on the package it has the transistor drawn as a square with lines near the outside edges. The transistor is half round. Is the image showing the rounded side or the flat side? It’s not clear to me. Thanks.

I’m pretty sure the image is showing the flat side of the transistor but just want to make sure.
