I recently acquired one of those watchcube indextron sets. Already recapped it, but the picture isn't quite filling the screen and the color is very flakey. Anyome have some advice as to what else I can do to get this set working properly?

There was a gentleman member of this forum who restored two of mine plus others for members. I see he has deleted all his posts for some reason, so I hesitate to give out his name. Review “The elusive Indextron” thread on this site. Most problems originated from leaking capacitor’s and the traces need to be cleaned.

I'll read through the indextron thread, and thoroughly check the board for corroded traces.

Best general advice is to check continuity/resistance between top & bottom of vias. Even if they look fine. The cap leakage causes secret, uneen harms. Might be time to acquire ultrasonic cleaner.
