Philco Philcophone 901

1 Attachment(s)
I picked up a Philco "Philcophone" model 901 (base) and 3 model 902 (remote) speakers as an intercom set at Kutztown yesterday. The cabinets cleaned up like new.

I want to recap 901 but am stumped by two bakelite blocks (photo) that have cross tabs for connections. 5 and 11 on the 1937 Philco Service notes;

Some tabs are one side only. Some are cross connected. What am I looking at? 1937 Philco rookie here.

Philco block caps are a combination of paper capacitor(s), terminal strip, and sometimes resistors(s).

The fat ones usually have 2 caps in them and the skinny ones typically have one. There's 3 separate terminals that go from side to side across (the idea was to be able to use them in multiple different chassis so a terminal could be connected to from either side). Usually one side of each cap inside goes to the terminal closest the mounting screw, but it can vary....the wires from the caps inside the block go through the hollow rivets that hold the terminals to the block and solder to the small center tab and you can count the wires to get a feel for the contents.
Each should have a unique reference number and sites like Philco repair bench have charts of what caps/resistors are inside. After removal I can typically get one in a minute chipping the tar out with a screwdriver, then restuf with new parts and reinstall.
