Stewart Warner 9109-B
3 Attachment(s)
Hello, I just obtained a Stewart Warner 9109-B. It seems to turn on and draw an image. Just ordered a coaxial matching transformer so I can test with my VCR. Is anyone familiar with these units? I can't seem to find much on the web.
Here's a link to video of it turning on. Thanks! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hJj...ew?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/19aX...ew?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lib...ew?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v8x...ew?usp=sharing |
Certainly a TV set of this age needs a restoration for not damaging critical parts. The excellente news is the CRT and transformers working ok. So, is very wortwhile to study the restoration process, or to find a restorer, and this set will become a fine perfomer as a new!
Is advisable to not using the set before at least checking some key parts, to be sure (parts like the capacitors near the H. oscillator). First posting here? Welcome! |
Early, uncommon set so there won't be much info out there I'm afraid.
Here's the service info from Riders. https://www.earlytelevision.org/pdf/...00_rider_3.pdf |
Howard Sams Photofacts also covered this model in their set number 118, folder number 10 dated December 1950. Check your library, some kept these old folders.
