VM (Voice of Music) Reel to Reel drive belts?
 

I have a VM (Voice of Music) Reel to Reel recorder that I bought in 1960.
The reel belt that is cloth or fiber has stretched and will not turn the take up
reel. Is there a place to order such belts? I thick a rubber belt might work.
VM model 710-A recorder.

I have 5 V-M decks.
V-M 720
V-M 722
V-M 740 x2
V-M 744
and matching external speaker/ amp for the 722.
Gary Stork, is always very helpful.

However it's highly recommended that you get the restore kit for you tape deck, as it's not as simple as just putting in the new belt, once changed, adjustments must be made to get it back in spec so it won't damage tapes, the kits have full instructions how to do this, plus all parts needed.
