Something different, a roundie used as visual effect on vintage music video
 

So I have watched this a lot as one of my favorite vintage music videos.
Beastie Boys Intergalactic. If your not a fan, video clearly shifts from full screen shot to a color roundie shot for vintage video effect. Watching this on a projector makes this more obvious. It must be a later rounded color tube as the quick visual shot of rounded screen seems to have greater clarity and contrast even when compared to the full screen.
It's awesome they used this effect as shows great screen quality of sets and adds to the vintage appeal of video. Has a voltronish robot character that is intergalactic and does big godzilla like battle scene with large squid monster.


A cool way rounded screen is immortalized..

Sorry to bust your bubble, but those are fish-eye-lens effects, not shots of a roundie picture.
