Hi all. On Ebay is a 1953 colour TV book that is 700 pages long with all the technical info and everything on early colour television, I personally would of loved to bid on it but got too many flamin bills :thumbsdn: to pay as they come all the time but any of you's here want it you can find it here. There's about 1 day to go on this book.

I've got a set of 7 books published by RCA- "Radio at Ultra-High Frequencies" & 6 volumes of "Television" thru June, 1950. It tells the TECHNICAL story of how electronic TV was developed-all the math & physics involved. It even gets into the beginnings of the color revolution. It's amazing that all this was accomplished w/o computers, really not much more than pencil & paper.-Sandy G.

The mystery deepens. The book sold for $212.50 (gasp) to the same buyer of the developmental CRT from last week that went through the roof. If nothing else, he will be able to read about the CRT he bought.

And if you want a book like this, be sure to check:

www.abebooks.com

No endorsement here, other than a great source of independent booksellers. Many times, you can find the same ebay book on their site from seller somewhere.

Also, always check www.bn.com and www.amazon.com used book sections. I've found most TV related books there at a lower cost than the Ebay prices.

Well, as long as we're recommending used book places, I also like alibris.com

For the best price check out your local lending library....it's FREE! Seriously, there's a online index to locate obscure books in other states, often your library can request a loan of one of these books by special arrangement so don't take no for an answer if they don't have what you're looking for.
