ATTENTION-- Steve Mcvoy, and other Dumont collectors!!

You REALLY need to look at this one. I am passing this along, and telling you all, without biding, 'cause this needs to be in a museum,(such as the etf), or such, and NOT in my basemant or garage. It deserves better.

It is a Dumont "salon" tv/radio combo, the bIG one, with the fold-out CRT assy.

SOMEONE HERE needs to get this!!!!

Oh you HAD to spring that here. I was hoping it'd slip by so my bid would come out on top ;)

In any case, anyone who gets it, here, is ordered to give us PLENTY of good high res pictures of it....

I'll be watching. Maybe I'll put a bid in.

It went for $1700 plus the buyer's premium and the winner was at the auction. I heard that it was headed for Florida. Did a member get it?

I am pleased to confess that I was the winning bidder. Chuck A attended the acution and bid on my behalf. When I manage to get the beast moved to Florida, I will keep everyone posted (with photos) on my progress. It is gonig to be some fun!

Well, at least it's going to a good home and won't get Posterized...

You owe us pics, John :)

I'm glad that John wanted it, I wasn't sure if my wife would let me have bookend Westminsters in the house, but I was ready with all the reasons why I did.

Chuck

I guessed that was what happened. Congrats John! I put in an early bid just because I could not let it pass without bidding. I almost went to the auction but decided not to.

That unit looked as mint as Chuck's.
