.....and another 1000% overprice on eBay
Saw this one today. C'mon! He must have seen the other recent eBay TVs and used the same opening bid formula: Retail antique store value X 1000% = eBay opening bid :smoke:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Emerson-1950s-TV...QQcmdZViewItem Nice TV, a good refinishing and re-capping and you have a clean $150 set! Charles |
I agree, not to mention the freight charge to deliver to someone's home. He'll learn the hard way when he has to pay to re-list it over and over....
|
This is actually marked down from the $700 he originally listed it for!
|
This clown doesn't learn. This must be a relist cuz I saw this auction last week...and had to restrain myself from hitting "ask seller a question" and typing:
AAA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAA!! |
He mentions that the "knobs" work. That's cool, but does the tv work???
|
"Bulbs"...Sheesh...What a maroon !!...<grin>-Sandy G.
|
and in it's "original wood box" no less..
I'm impressed. Bill R |
The only difference between a wood box and a wood cabinet is the finish. I guess stain and varnish is not included.
If they remove those "bulbs" and put in some tubes, it might just work. :) |
