Here is a 1940s/1950s Emerson on upay
 

It looks like it might be working, they have the shutter speed too high so you can only see sections of raster. Has a lid on top with controls underneath and it looks like it reflects the sound 45 degrees to the front..

The raster looks the same in both pictures. Odds of having a too fast shutter catch the raster the same way are pretty low. What it looks like to me is a vertical deflection circuit that needs to be recapped. Recap the rest of the set as well. The horizontal output and flyback are working, and the CRT has some brightness. Thus most of the hard to replace parts are probably in good shape, so this set should be not hard to restore to its former glory.

That set looks like a Model 1146. I just bought one just like it, but in a dark blue cabinet on the bay for $3.00. This set here's been relisted I see. They might have better luck if they lower that opening bid a little.
