Philco 640 chassis and speaker

I just pulled these out of a trashed cabinet. Tubes are there, and it looks okay under the dirt.

A little googling suggests the same chassis and speaker was used in the tombstone 640, and the floor model 640X. Can anyone confirm or correct?

How do I find a good home for these items?

Thanks, I did see that last night and sent a question to see if it's a match, but then I googled more and I *think* that 37-640 used a different chassis. I think my chassis was used in model 640 (tombstone with speaker above chassis) and model 640X (floor model with speaker below chassis). The dial glass for mine is a sort of curvy rectangle, where the 37-640 has a round dial.

I sent an email to a buddy in the Michigan Antique Radio Club, and he probably knows this stuff in his sleep. And he's close enough that I probably wouldn't have to ship. I was amazed at what nice shape some parts of it were. For example there are soft plastic or rubber bumpers on the front -- and they are still flexible!!! I think this dates from the mid-30s! The knobs were in great shape too.

Ron,

Small world! He just approved my account for the Philco Forum, where I plan to post on this chassis. Thanks for the tip though, I'll mention your name.
