Radio Museum Fürth (Rundfunkmuseum)

Hello,

I am from Germany and quite new in the AudioKarma Forum.

You can find more information about the development of German broadcasting and about the development of tubes, transistors, radios and the first tv-sets at the homepage of the Rundfunkmuseum Fürth. Max Grundig started his business after WW2 in Fürth/Bavaria and he had his office in the house, where the museum is now located. His idea was to offer a set called Heinzelmann. This set included all parts to build a radio - except tubes - because after the war German companies were not allowed to produce and sell complete radios. Later Grundig became a very inovative company with many thousand employees in many different countries. But this is long gone.

You can find the english version of the Rundfunkmuseum here:

Best regards

Feuerstein
