Poor Projection Mirror Coatings

Anyone have any bad experiences with CLAUSING doing poor work on recoating mirrors? Just got back three mirrors from them which are unacceptable. Waiting for a reply to see if they will fix the problems.
Previous work they did was nice.

Wow - P.A. Clausing, in Chicago?? I ground and polished my own mirrors for two Newtonian reflectors (telescopes) I built, and sent both mirrors to Clausing for aluminizing (actually, they call it "Beryl" coating, I think), and their work was absolutely flawless. That was about 12 years ago, though - sometimes with these family businesses, the kids take over and everything goes to hell...

I had two done about 6 months ago and both were excellent finishes.
