Philo T. Farnsworth was born 100 years ago today...just wanted to commemorate that, without his "image dissector" tube we'd be watching a very different type of TV these days!

Does any one collect stamps? Rememeber the FDC issued Sept 21, 1983 that commenorated Farnsworth?

Cool! BTW, I did see the news that his wife, Pem, assed on a few months ago. What I found fascinating about Philo Farnsworth is that he was researching fusion as well. BTW, one of my cats, my calico cat, Pansy, turns 19 today, I'm glad she shares a birthday with someone famous.

I'm also very interested in Farnsworth's fusion work, it seems like he had a lot of ideas that very few other people could understand. Who know what he may have come up with...
