The ultimate 40's Philco for sale

Now I think this would be the ultimate Philco roundie. I would looooove to have this beauty. Check out the hidden controls. Also, to me, the fact that it is a cross between a lighter weight table model and a floor model is a big plus.

Perfect!!

Sure wish it was in pickup distance...

I have the same television and I bought it off ebay sometime back. It was "pickup only" and I got it for $50.00 the opening bid amount, no one else bid on the set! Its in great physical shape and all complete, one day will get it working. You gotta love these consolettes!

They turn up around here (NJ/NY/PA area) every so often, are usually "pickup only" and usually, but not always, don't go for a lot of money. I also think they're pretty nice and I've bid on a couple of them, but with gas around three bucks a gallon, the farther away they were, the less I bid!

The philco in your photo is nice, but I'm more excited about that "how-to-tune" tag on your blond CTC-5 :D

Hey Charles
Besides the "how-to-tune" tag, that set also has the warranty card and owners manual in mint condition....too bad the set does not work but maybe Steve K. may want to take on that project later on!

Doug:

Bring it on over! But let me finish your CTC-4 first. I should have the recapping done in a few hours.

Steve
