this is interesting.,..looks like a gun to rebuild a picture tube.

Looks like a sales display or engineering sample, Don't the replacement gun assemblies have glass at least 1" or so past the gun itself?

Notice this one is under vacuum. It still has the getter flash. It was an engineering sample. He doesn't remember what they were for.
