need a source for 45 volt batteries
I have a couple of antique tube radios that use 45 volt batteries and 1.5 volt batteries. I have searched AK and Google and looked through the links sticky but so far have come up dry. Can anyone point me to a company that sells them? They are Eveready # 482(45volt) and Eveready # 742(1.5volt).
Thanks in advance. |
Why dont you just make a 120v power supply? Batteries dont last very long.

I snap 9 volt batteries together in a chain for 45 0r 90. I use a couple "d" cells in parallel for the 1.5.
I didn't know the real thing was still in production. It will be interesting to see what others come up with. :) WHat kind of radio is it? John |
Antique Electronics Supply has them on sale until Dec 31.
