MJ1035-1 owner's manual needed.

Does anyone have a respectable copy of the Zenith MJ1035-1 Owner's Manual? Need one to go with a radio I am restoring for a gift. Any help, leads will be greatly appreciated.

Not a copy, but...

...the original, eight-page 'Operating Guide' plus the printed booklet on frequency modulation (FM) that came with every new Zenith AM/FM.

It should be no problem to copy these and mail them off Fatman, although I have seen a couple listed on eBay in the past. Not sure what's there now.

I also have the correct nine-page SAMS for the MJ's 12J01/12J01Z chassis, so give a shout if you'd like that included. It's a copy, but a nice one; should reproduce again just fine.

What a nice gift...you're sure to make someone's holiday a very merry one with that beautiful radio!

Sent you an e-mail, if it worked, but what you need for a copy of the operator's manual. I have the 11J01 chassis and have the Sam's coming. Need a bit more info than I can divine of just a schematic.

Not sure what AK has for my email...too busy to look, but I have not seen anything. You can PM me your details and we'll work it out there, or send an email to:

I have your K731 tweeter too, if you're interested in a 'package deal....'

:-)

You sure have the answers to my prayers this month, Nolan, and an impressive collection of neat old Zenith's. I just have a couple at work in the shop and office and a couple I am trying to fix up for friends and gifts and such. An H845 will do a respectable job of filling a 15,000 square foot hangar with music. Those old Zeniths will perform inside a metal building on their line cord antennae where the new stuff is just a mass of static from the mercury vapor lights.

Glad to help, but it isn't any trouble at all. Many is the time that I've gotten help and advice from Chad, Tom Bavis, Sandy G, Jeff...it's a long list. It's good to be a part of it.

I'd say that H845 is the ideal choice for a large, open building like an airport hanger. I replaced the tired Zenith 725 in my shop building (which is also steel) with a tatty, but good sounding C845 that plays faithfully all day, filling the room with punchy sound.

Personal opinions being what they are, mine is that Zenith reached its....well, 'zenith' with this table model. Just an outstanding radio that makes up for its rather mundane styling with audio performance that's far from the norm. A truly great set!

Stuff got here today!, Thanks, made a donation as requested, but really need to return the favor somehow. Folks around here cook up a little corn, winter wheat and rye. After it sits in a white oak barrel for a spell, it goes will with a bit of mint and some ice........................
