I would send him a shout to tell him of the need to remove those couple of zeros but I fear it would fall on deaf ears.

It might take that much $$ to build this stuff from scratch (or more), but this poor seller is delusional.

I believe that I have the exact TV that he is selling, but in much better condition. I paid $85 for it in Dallas at an auction a few years back.
He either missed his decimal points or has a very inflated value of his items. |
"I'm tempted to ask if he'll ship it to BF Egypt C.O.D."
John, you had me laughing out loud! These auctions are real head scratchers...maybe these are just tests for a newbie to try the process out? No way can he think the stuff is worth a fraction of this, but why waste the time to post it? He could be looking for folks to email him with offers but those prices will scare anybody away. What would be a fair price for this stuff? I have been to farm auctions where the whole lot would have sold for $1, and the other bidders would have laughed at me for paying that much! |
