Looks very similar to a grundig style of the mid 60s, especially the bass and treble setup on the bottom of the face.

The fact that all you hear is hum indicates that the filter capacitors have dried up. Because of that you have no clean B+ voltage, so the radio can't properly operate.

They caps are most likely large multisection cans with 10,20, or 40mf ratings.
