What radio chassis do you have? It should have ink stamped chassis marks like mine: R204-01-00. It could have -10/-20/-30 in place of the 00 at the end of mine. Mine is SAMS 697-10. I cannot play the radio and TV at the same time. I got my 21" combo at Goodwill for $1.00. The CRT in it was really weak. I found a good CRT buried in the TV shop at my last duty station.
I got this console stereo/record player this summer in the free pile last summer. The lytics are dried out and it sounds a little off. The record changer did not work but it had the needed cartridge and stylus. It is the same chassis but it does not have the Tv circuits wired in. Looks to be pretty easy to add those. I will take the best components to get my two Maggie combos working.
A friend parted out another Magnavox stereo and have me all the parts minus the chassis. The record changer he gave me works. I have it in the stereo playing some Herb Albert right now. Tonight I am going to put the working changer in my combo.
