What was even cooler was a small plastic movie camera toy I got Christmas '62. It was a bright pink/white swirled plastic, with a small crank on the side. Inside was a small loop of 8mm film that animated when you turned the crank! Never saw another one like it again, but it sure looked like catalin, thinking back through a old collector's hazy memory.
