yeah . . . weather was not ideal last night (cloudy, rainy). I strung up a 50 foot length of antenna inside our sunroom (my wife's face as I did this was priceless

) but I'll take your suggestion and string one outside to see what I can pickup.
even with the non-ideal setup, I was pulling in some oldies AM stations, and on other bands I heard Caribbean, German, and Chinese
I do have a 1946 Magnavox which picks up SW, so it'll be interesting to see the RCA's performance in comparison.
