Thanks for the link on the Capeharts... It sure looks very close! But not identical. I'll agree on the idea that it's a Capehart 500-series for now, but not ruling out Magnavox yet.
Another idea is that since Capehart bought many of their cabinets from John Whitticomb (spelling?) in Grand Rapids, maybe Whitticomb also offered a line of bare cabinets for custom jobs?
