I was going to go for this one myself, but I e-mailed the guy and asked if he could hold it for a couple weeks until I had time to get to Chicago. I also said I would pay immediately.
He said he'd hold it, but would charge $5 a week to store it. I politely thanked him.
There's no way I'm going to deal with somebody looking to nickle & dime me like that.
His loss, 'cause i would have gone higher than his top bid.
