These must have been decent quality sets as I have brought two home, plugged them in and they worked, at least for a while. The wooden 17T8 version payed for only an hour or so and lost signal completely.  Surely full of leaky caps. 
The bakelite 17T13 version has always remained viewable. The sync is a bit sketschy after a while so its probably ready for a recap. The CRT produces one hell of a crisp, bright picture so I feel like the crt, or perhaps the whole set is low mileage.  |
