In 1967 the CT-100 would have only been 13 years old...I would think that there would have been somewhat of a desire to keep them operating, especially since people shelled out a lot of money for them new, they do produce good color, and a new console color TV would have cost probably at least twice what a replacement 15GP22 did, and there was more of a desire overall at the time to repair rather than replace.

Does anyone know when the last renewal 15GP22's were made? There were probably some old timers that kept using the CT-100's until the repair parts were no longer available.
