Yes, this is a 1000 ohm resistor...This resistor is so you can calculate the 6BK4 cathode current...you can measure the voltage across it to find the current. As I remember, 0.8-1 volt is normal (usual 6Bk4 cathode current should be around 0.8-1 ma or 800-1000 microamperes)
