I'm an aquarium guy, and the amount of specialized equipment required to run a TOTL aquarium these days is much higher than it used to be. Where are you going to put a 10lb co2 cylinder in an old TV? Not to mention that the trend in aquarium design is toward minimalism (to the point of glass intake and outflow tubes for the filter) to focus the attention onto what's inside the aquarium, not what's holding it.
