That makes me a little more eager to start this restoration. The idea of cooking a potentially explosive device with a heat gun had me a bit scared.
At the moment the pieces of my ctc 7 cabinet are in various stages of refinishing. When my African mahogany veneer comes in at the end of the week, and the ctc 7 is out of the garage, perhaps I will start on the Admiral. I was going to bring it up on a variac tonight, but I didn't get to it.
