I've had countless of this type of radio across my bench in earlier years. Be the badge SABA, Grundig, Telefunken, Blaupunkt, Delmonico, etc...they all seem to be of the same nature of chassis. Don't count on much service info is my experience. I've always had to use my backwoods blindfolded techniques in working on these relics. Good-sounding units--most of them, once you get them playing. Most common headache are issues with the pushie-buttons at the bottom of the dial; contacts on those complex switches are weak at this point on most of these. DeOxIt D5 as needed, and hope for the best.

I've seen the odd one come in with an open plate resistor on an IF tube, and also the occasional leaky blocking cap, open filter, etc....
