I was finally able to check digital TV reception at my mothers house in
Oklahoma, 70 miles from the transmitter. To my suprise, on rabbit ears, she receives 5 channels in good weather. Two NBC channels(here NBC only transmitts one channel, Telemundo(not much good to her, in Spanish). and a couple others.
Do not know how well it will work in bad weather or with a better antenna.
I have noticed one repeating artifact in both satellite and digital TV. If a car such as my 1963 Falcon is on the screen, the slotted grill causes a rainbow effect. I have seen this on several items with slotted type surfaces, including railroad cars and dress ties.
